Well, our reporting year is over, but you are still busy doing things that show our communities and Friends what we are doing. I am also still asking for pictures of what your Auxiliary has been doing and pictures of Valorie and her travels. I also need pictures of when our National President Jean visited us in August. I could not be at the dinner on Friday night because of an accident my roommate had at the motes and was at the ER with her. I will be giving Valorie the photo book of her year at Mid-Winter and I need loads of help. I would like to have the pictures on a cd or a flash drive. Sending thru my email fills it up really easy, which I did not know, and I might loose them.
Does your District have a Facebook page? It is an easy way to let all the Auxiliaries in the District know what each other are doing and reminders of meetings and what is going on.
Thank you to the Auxiliary chairman that sent in their Year End Reports. I know more Auxiliaries did things during the year to promote the Auxiliary programs in photos or newsletters to members. I will be giving the District Presidents Certificates of Appreciation for their Auxiliaries that sent in a report.
The resources page on the National website or MALTA is very helpful. They also have blogs from the different Ambassadors for ideas to make your history book or media book. I hope we have many entries at the Dept Convention at the Mill Casino in June.
Next year when we have our Learning Academies, remember to keep track of the members that attend and report it the number on your EYR. It is one of the questions that my Ambassador asks on her report that I am to send her.
